A solo ads is defined as buying a pre agreed amount of emails sent to that persons email list. For example you can buy 100 emails submits to another persons email list. That person will then send your offer(affiliate offer, your product etc). to his subscriber list until there has been at least 100 opened emails. The sellers will usually, but not always give you a few more open rates.

You will see the below. This is where we begin our search.
Our goal is to find quality sellers, meaning we try and find sellers that have responsive lists. In other words lists that like to buy. Using the below method we should be able to find some good quality sellers, that have many responsive members that will help us make our solo ad profitable.

We now have a table beginning with the variable ‘Price’ that we can adjust to give us a list of buyers that we prefer.
The price I normally start with is around 0.60, depending on the results you can increase this to 0.70 or 0.80. This is the price that will cost you per click to your offer. The next option we look at is Niche. Select the niche that your offer is related to. If it’s in the ‘make money’ niche then select marketing. Let’s leave the ratings at 0+. We adjust the ‘Get sales‘ to 40% and the rest we leave as is.
This will give us a list of sellers that meet our requirements. Now it’s a case of selecting each one individually and getting a closer look at their history.

Verified Ratings
This is the number or ratings that this seller has received, again the higher the number the better. If you click the verified ratings icon it will take you down to the ratings and we can read for ourselves what each buyer wrote.
Percentage Sales
We see our seller has a percentage rating of 80%, this is outstanding and great see when looking for a good seller. The higher the better. This rating can be deceiving as many sales come days after the buyer rates the service. If your doing solo ads properly you should have an email sequence that spans around a week. When reading the ratings I like to see that there were many optins.
Percentage of repeat buyers
Again, it’s always good to see a high number here. I like to see this number around the 30%. If I were satisfied with my buyer I would certainly be returning for more.
Average response time
In this case, the quicker the response time the better. When your hot to trot you don’t want to be waiting days for a response.
Read their offer
What your looking for here is where the traffic is coming from. We like to see the majority of traffic coming from Tier 1 countries (USA,.UK,AUS,CAN). Traffic from these countries usually have higher spending habits.
Average traffic geography
This is a map which shows the where the traffic is received from. It’s mainly to verify the claims in the sellers offer. It should match what the seller has promised in his offer.
Read seller ratings
I like reading several of the buyers ratings to get a feel of what each buyer like or disliked. Read as many as you need to get a sense of what the buyers experienced when buying this persons solo ad.
Contact seller
If you still need more information it is worth contacting the seller and check their response time
If you find a seller that’s well priced with a good rating and you like the profile and you get a sense that you will get what the seller promising. Go ahead add him/her to your favorites by clicking the love heart at the top of their profile.
Good sellers can advise you on your landing page and other aspects of your campaign that can be the difference between making money, breaking even or losing money.
